How To Defeat COVID-19
As COVID-19 virus infections continue to rise in the USA, the WHO has declared COVID-19 a global pandemic and the United States has declared a national emergency. An important part of overcoming this emergency situation is for us all to work together and do our part to limit its spread. The most effective ways to limit infections are mainly, reducing contact with others and cleaning/disinfecting.
Here are a few guidelines to help you navigate this crisis:

Avoid touching your face. This is one of the most accessible areas on your body to any invasive contaminant.

Stay at least six feet away from anyone who's coughing or sneezing.

Frequently wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.

Disinfect hard surfaces with cleaners such as Bleach, Lysol wipes, Isopropyl Alcohol and other disinfecting cleaners.
Can Covid-19 Live On Your Clothes?
According to the CDC, COVID-19 and other viruses can live on surfaces anywhere, from a few hours to a few days. While the highest chance of infection comes from hard surfaces that are frequently touched by others, there is still a chance that viruses can be carried and transmitted on your clothes. Here are a few tips on handling your laundry during this pandemic:

Try not to shake dirty laundry as it risks re-dispersing any bacteria or virus back into the air.

Try to use disposable gloves when handling laundry, but if not be sure to thoroughly wash your hands after handling laundry.

Use the warmest water available on equipment.

Bleach and color safe bleach are excellent for disinfecting laundry.

Use high capacity washers and dryers to effectively clean larger items such as comforters, blankets, sheets, coats and other items too large to fit in standard, household laundry equipment.
